None More Black Cap Rules Everything Around Me – Robots Root 10 July 2018

This Hot Toys variant of an unused concept costume for Civil War makes me sweat. I WANT THIS DESIGN.

Meanwhile, in space:

I thought Avengers: Infinity War looked VERY good. But I’m struck by some of these concept settings. Most of all, the Vision surgery room in Wakanda. The concept art for it is majestic to say the least!

I’m not the type of youngin’ that would use the term clap-back, but Brad Bird is hitting back hard at whiners whining about Incredibles 2 being unsuitable for toddlers.

Ross Maquand has thrown his white not silver cowl into the ring for the Moon Knight role that doesn’t exist. I’m OK with it.

Keri Russell has been cast in the new Star Wars film. Forget Resistance or First Order, WHAT WILL HER HAIR BE LIKE u guise. In case you don’t remember what Keri Russell looks like, or more importantly, what she looks like twenty years after her popular Felicity series, allow me to provide this helpful visual aid:

Meanwhile, Billy Dee Williams appears a lock for Star Wars IX. What will be weird is him playing General Leia, but hey. I’m willing to give it a go.

This rumored source material for a Boba Fett film couldn’t make me more exhausted. BLECH.

I’m looking forward to more shootey shootey John Wick action, but srsly, I can’t complain enough about Halle Berry being involved. I do like those assassin names though. The Tic Tock Man?! YASSSSSARRRRR

I’m going to go ahead and make a likely-unpopular statement: I’ve always thought the Predator looked stupid. The fishnets, the GIANT awkwardly scaled head, the awkward, less articulate fingers/claws… I enjoy the movies despite this, like I enjoy Batman movies despite the Batman design generally being less interesting. Just saying. Seeing all the pics of the new Predators (and hearing about the Super Mega Predator or whatever) just reminds me.

Heaps of features on the Infinity War Blu-Rays, all 3,000 versions of them. Even more extras in the Deadpool 2 discs.  And speaking of Infinity War, that Thanos stunt on Reddit finally actually happened and I love it. In the sub-Reddit, they just wiped out 50% of the posts. Brilliant.

Also, this exchange:

Speaking with Birth Movies Death, Kevin Feige confirmed Thanos eliminated half of the universe’s animal and plant life, too. What about those precious natural resources you wanted to preserve so much, Thanos???

“Yes! Yes. All life.”
