The Podcast That Forgot What it’s Like to Fear Death – Robots Root 6 Dec 2017

I WANT ALTERED CARBON IN MY FACE ASAP

Meanwhile…

Somewhere in space… it’s Robot’s Root:

  • Once again, Disney and Fox are “thisclose” to the deal… so, what do you think? Will Disney fold in the X-Men and FF properties as part of the likely multiverse thing coming after Infinity War?

  • Free Deadpool tattoos. What could go wrong? I’ll take free Negasonic tattoos though. And by free Negasonic tattoos, I mean applying tattoos onto what is already a peak hawt package. ZING!
  • I’d like all these Star Wars jackets a lot more if they didn’t have rebel logos or whatever on them. Less literal. Also, half this price.
  • Watch this GIF… do you hear it? I do.
  • It’s true: Nolan benefitted from a less compressed time of supers film production. He had a film in between each Batman film, and he told a story he cared about, largely or entirely without studio interference. However, he also benefitted from being Christopher Nolan in the first place. There’s a vision.
  • Interesting Stranger Things theory: is the demogorgon part of Eleven’s manifestation? I doubt it, given the events of S02… but still, good effort.
  • Here’s some cool concept art for Valkyrie from Andy park!
  • For Aeon-Flux fans, you can now watch the entire Liquid Television series streamed to your eyeballs like an errant fly.
  • As I’ve said on the pod, an AI vs AI vs AI direction in the Alien franchise sounds good to me. It just doesn’t make much more sense as a PREQUEL.
  • Batman almost had a shitty speeder bike in Justice League. Just look. Plus, somewhere, out there, there’s footage of the black Superman costume. I can’t wait until it surfaces.
  • Some potential Iron Fist S02 villain hints here in the casting notes… I mean, I could go either way, now that the showrunner has changed. Alice Eve was just cast as well…
  • NINJA TREE CLAWS
  • Margot Robbie is doing some sort of Harley Quinn something or other. I mean, who’s to say.
  • This Batman ninja business is the BUSINESS.
  • ADAM part 3 is no online. Hot damn.
  • Hellboy has a release date, and it’s too far away. Maybe, given what happened when they rushed JL, that’s OK.
  • Disney cast Mulan, and didn’t cock it up, even.
  • Historical nightmare fuel.
  • In an era of perpetual reboots, this plea from Alex Proyas against the Crow remake was pretty profound. Of course I’m of the age to have an emotional connection to that first film, too.
  • I haven’t watched any Black Mirror so far, but I might start

  • New images from next year’s Dark Phoenix surprise the hell out of me. My expectations were so low. This early look of Jean Grey transforming, even if its just stylized for these images… they’re really great. I like the cracking apart of her flesh. Not strictly consumed by fire, but also separating into component atoms. Wow. I also like the apparent change in concept for the Phoenix Force, and that the X-Men are popular, with Xavier being reckless in his deployment of the team beyond their capability, the hubris and overconfidence implied.
  • Finally, I’ve mentioned a few times that I’ve been watching, and enjoying, Runaways. We’ll be talking about that soon, but in the meantime, a good article about how the Hulu production makes good use of their established budget to put together FX for the deinonychus, Old Lace, featured in the show. It’s a good example of a production not overreaching beyond their budget, and spending the money wisely.

The State of the State – 13 Nov 2017 From the Future

Before we get into that SWEET, SWEET ROOT, a quick update: I’ve been in Indonesia for 10 days, and while the days themselves have been long, I’ve made great progress on my fall TRDL mission: them TRDL Sourcebooks! I’ll be editing Book One on the 30+ hour trip home (that begins in a few hours) along with working on Books Two and Three (of four) but man, progress! Look, above, evidence!

Meanwhile, the Root continues…

  • There is a lot of Stranger Things fanart out there. I’ve done some! And a lot of Rick and Morty fanart out there. I’ve worked on some! But this cracked me up, mostly because of the Freddy Kreuger ballsack-chin dude, can’t remember his name, done up as the Sheriff. Dying.

Then again, I’m pretty easy to entertain…

  • You have to give Agents of SHIELD some credit: they re-invent the show each season and generally pull it off. Looks like this time it’s going to be Alien by way of Kree. The tropes about the black guy getting killed first, splitting up, etc are in full effect. Pretty funny.  Also, interesting that they’re using a non-Brood Brood, the Marvel rip-off/homage to the xenomorph in the first place, because I believe the Brood falls into Fox’s rights wheelhouse.
  • Despite being overseas, upside-down, and working with, I kid you not, 1-kbps download and less that 1kbps upload most of the time (and thats the heavier duty hotel network) we managed to do some recording for the Robot-Kraken Podcast. You might remember such a thing! We’re getting an episode pulled together that covers September and some of October, and then we’re also cooking up the following one, which will cover through November. So many things being discussed, just wring your hands and IMAGINE how awesome it will be to listen to them.

Speaking of awesome, here’s a screencap of my face reflected in the JW Black Bladerunner bottle Blake got me…

  • The TL;DR version of the Rian Johnson SW trilogy speculation is, of course: ALL THE EXTENDED UNIVERSE STUFF, plus all the other stuff. Still, fun to contemplate. What do YOU want out of a new trilogy? I know what I don’t want: Skywalkers. Just give me some action on the other side of the galaxy.
  • The Disney/Marvel + Fox discussions are apparently still on, unless they aren’t, but they might be. Surely they are.
  • Now while I admit I haven’t been keeping up with the animated side of the business, how stoked am I that they’ve done a Gotham by Gaslight cartoon? Give me a live action movie now, I says.
  • I think one Lung sent me this after my last post, so: this alphanumeric set based on the the industrial design of each brand is VISIONARY. I was floored by it.
  • In ‘whats in the tin is on the label’ news, read this headline:

Man fakes his death to help police catch wife in murder-for-hire plot

And the article, if you want the long version.

  • And in ‘is this REALLY a thing, or just faking being a thing? Or a fake thing?’ news, this.
  • Here’s a neat overview of Mondo designs that were rejected, if you can even imagine such a thing. The whole deal with War for the Planet of the Toles is awesome.
  • The limited edition Lovecraft tiki mug here is to die for. I mean, sort of literally, I guess.
  • Let’s dance around Thor: Ragnaok a bit for a moment. I saw the film, and loved it, which you will see below. But look, Cate Blanchett’s Hela just stole it from a design perspective, in a film already chockablock with great design. And she’s so smoulderingly, saunteringly gorgeous in this. I couldn’t even. BUT NOW YOU CAN, thanks to another Sideshow Collectibles figure that kills it.
  • So, I saw The Thor. We’re recording a thing on it soon, so I’ll hold off on deep-diving on the actual film, but I thought I’d share a bit about how surreal the experience was. I saw it in Jakarta, Indonesia. This is a Muslim country which is very pleasant and features a hub of international business in southeast asia. There are horrible, horrible things on the side of the road. But also, nice folks and such. It’s like any third world country with a slab of international commerce in the middle of it. Anyway, I quite like it. So, on previous trips I never had time to go do anything really, other than job site, client office, hotel, etc. This time, I took a break on Saturday night, and went to see a film. It was at a cinema buried in the core of a megamall, one of these multi-tiered structures that webs between and under multiple office towers. Took about 35 minutes to find the theater, and I had even done my homework. OK, Thor! But in Jakarta!

Like most of the world, you step in the cinema and it’s quite familiar. Ticketing, concessions, pre-show something or other, then seats and trailers. In this case, the concessions ran the gamut from little popcorn purses to slabs of roast beast, and the pre-show entertainment was actually a sub-theater/lounge space showing Katy Perry concert footage while people sipped mocktails.

This show, not even an IMAX or 3D version, cost roughly $7USD. And, assigned seating. You select it yourself. Thus!

I may not have been in row 3 (because crazy) or 33 (because full; Jakartans seem to need some distance from the hollywood vomiting of technicolor indulgence, even when it is intentional, as with the design work on this film) but…

Studio 3, cousins…

So it was mostly interesting and slightly distracting to watch with subtitles. I kept wanting to read them, and catch glimpses of interesting Bahasa for stuff like ‘You. Me. The others. We have to get ready.’ “The others, Bruce.’ etc etc but once the actual film started, it almost synced up with the film’s liberal use of alien script and wild Kirbyesque design. It FIT. So anyway, I may have been the loudest LOLer (I was) but it was a super fun time. The woman in the burka in front of me (see the red) didn’t make any noises, but I saw her smile on the way out. That Chris Hemsworth, amirite.

OK, heading to board my first leg on the long trip back. Until next time, have fun with your friend from work…

Put Away That Bat-Shaver – Robots Root 9 Nov 2017

Look, I’d rather just watch a movie about THESE characters than what I see from JL.

:::

Care for a spot of Root?

  • WTF Bendis just jumped ship wholesale for DC. That’s either a terrible or wonderful thing for Marvel depending on your POV. Unexpected, at minimum.
  • Honest Trailer for Stranger Things… which is, as usual, amazing.
  • $440M opening weekend, globally, for Thor: Ragnarok. WELP!
  • For a hot minute, Twitter was losing collective shit about Disney contemplating buying Fox. So many Avengers Vs. X-men images! Anyway, the whole thing fizzled back into reality pretty quickly, but still. You can imagine Hugh Jackman somewhere on a yacht reading this and throwing his champagne flute over the bow.
  • This treatise on the physics of Star Wars is quite excellent, sent to me by one Lung. Dive in!
  • The Art of 20 Years of Ghost in the Shell is a B I B L E. And, yes, I bought it, and it will be arriving at my house before I land in SF again…
  • The rumors now swirl that Black Adam will first appear in Suicide Squad 2. I’m not as opposed as some, though it begs the question why that film and not Shazam, unless he appears in both. The Rock sneezes money, so I can see why.
  • I’m just stoked Glass is actually happening.
  • This Back to the Future themed VW Type II bus project missed the mark for me. Why make a bus into a Delorean when the terrorist van as it was was COOLER than the Delorean in the first place?
  • wunderkammmmmmmmmmer!
  • I’ve been drawing AD&D characters all wrong
  • I don’t like this at all, not because of cultural appropriation (I’ve drawn Dias de los Muertos art before) but because it’s so LAZY.

OK, that’s all for now. Sent from the future…

Short Tunic and a Loooooooooong Cape – Robots Root 31 Oct 2017

Robots Root, 64 oz size!

  • Kind of obvious, but I was stoked to see D’Onofrio officially on board in DD S03, especially given the kind of underwhelming, if classic, Born Again plotline. It gives me at LEAST a Kingpin to enjoy.
  • If Gareth Evans does indeed sign on to Deathstroke, that means if nothing else a kick ass fight film. Which seems appropriate.
  • The full Runaways trailer shows some powers, familiar looks, and at least do far isn’t ruining any major surprises comic fans would know.
  • The new Justice League trailer shows Steppenwolf more fully. I wasn’t going to watch, then I realized I’d be overseas when it comes out so things will be spoiled anyway…
  • Um. I mean, I’d still buy one. I love that stuff. But hey, bonuses I guess.
  • Zachary Levi has been confirmed as playing Captain Marvel, I mean SHAZAM I guess at this point, which I’m enjoying. I like the actor, and I think he can bulk up to where it needs to be, as John Krasinski and Chris Prat did. It will be interesting to see if we get a young Billy Batson, or an older one in keeping with the apparent continuity of the DCEU. My favorite of the fan art that came out early this week is above.
  • I don’t watch Supergirl or any of the CW super shows… but wow… check out the costume for new villain ‘Reign’… that’s realllllly badly envisioned. A chattering skull in a super sigil logo on a black version of Supergirl’s costume, plus a Hot Topic mask? GUH.
  • Paramount has been auctioning off costumes and props from the recent Star Trek film. I haven’t talked mush about ST: Discovery yet, as I’m waiting for my cohorts to watch it so we can discuss on the podcast, but one positive, at least in part, has been the overhaul of the Klingon designs. Seeing these Klingon armors, especially the helms, makes me even happier with the show.
  • Best bike-based Star Wars styled Halloween costume anything EVER.
  • This R/C Batmobile is BAD ASS. I still prefer the Tumbler, but hot damn, rotating turrets (for murderdeathkill DCEU Batman!) 24″ of pure powah.
  • He was answering more broadly about his willingness to return to Marvel for another film, not specifically a Black Widow film, but Taika Waititi noted he’d like to see a funny Black Widow. I don’t doubt he’d pull it off, one of those ‘she’s the straight face with lots of eye rolling and groaning at the incompetence of everyone else’ type projects… but I still just want my urgent spy thriller.
  • Speaking of, Olivia Munn has been cast in Hummingbird, which is, you know, that.
  • And here’s the opposite of Olivia Munn, Mads Mikkelsen in Polar. Also awesome. WANT!
  • I forgot to mention this after retweeting it on Twitter… because thats what the cool kids do… but Preacher has been greenlit for S03, which is great news.
  • Our review and discussion (and befuddlement at trying to map out the plotline after seeing it in the middle of the night) of Blade Runner 2049 is forthcoming on the podcast, but this was interesting: they considered making it a two part 4 hour film. There is a definite divide in the narrative, indeed each half begins with the eye, etc. I’m glad they took it the direction they did, though.
  • This is the stuff of superhero or paranormal or alien film prologues…
  • Finally, here’s a Stranger Things candle that I love highly.

Happy Halloween y’all! Enjoy your syringes and bath salts and Charleston Chews!

When It’s Acceptable to get Hoffed – Robots Root 170712

Listen, I hate that David Hasselhoff song in the GOG2 soundtrack. It took a funny cultural nod in the film and sent it into pure kitsch territory. But I also acknowledge that Gunn comes from a Troma background, and this whole thing is post-modern to him. He can be incredibly emotionally invested in making the best possible film (and he is) and still feel enthusiastic about including 4th wall cheese in the closing credits (which he did)… so while I skip this track in the soundtrack (when my kids allow it) I WILL say I’m amused by how the cast is dolled up in this photo, and more generally, that they would engage in this sort of tomfoolery in the first place. Seems like a really fun set.

And now, from the void: Robot’s Root!

  • I don’t what to even think about all this Sonyverse business, but while many seem to be freaking out (in the negative) about the possible inclusion of Ann Weying in the Venom film (ex-wife of Eddy Brock) but it doesn’t mean she will be ‘She-Venom’ or that she’s even in any way the same relationship type as in the comics. The one positive point I can see here is that they suggest in the link that Venom isn’t a space symbiote, but a bioweapon. I like that much better.
  • Stranger Things 2: October 27 hell yes!
  • At this point I’m firmly convinced (unless I’m not) that Ridley Scott just free associates in these interviews. Now he’s roping in the (dreaded, at least to me) concept of introducing more Ripley family members. This is over-retconning to the nth degree, if so. I could sort of handle Ripley’s daughter in a video game I didn’t play, but otherwise, can’t a thing just be a thing? I guess when alien horror suddenly involves space jesuses, then maybe not.
  • Another round of slightly-better AI Paint Names. My favorite: SPICED ROPE.

  • I can’t get enough of Baby Driver. I haven’t even SEEN it yet. This was a little micro-video done for the Australian premiere, which I want as my neck tattoo. Not ‘tomorrow’ per se, but something sweet-as written into the speedo. Why not! Such as, perhaps, KURB RUSSELL, my new codename for action and adventure.
  • If you were on the fence regarding Luke Cage S02, fear no longer: Lucy Liu is involved. She directed the first episode. I mean, it’s not a high-heeled corporate efficiency expert or icy sword-swinging vengeance person, but still.
  • I’m digging on the photos from Black Panther. I’m REALLY digging this world building. Best detail, all the ritual scarring, especially on Michael P. Jordon’s character.
  • The trailer for the full season order of the Tick looks even better than the Pilot, which I quite liked. Toling you, it’s all about Jackie Earl Haley’s character… AGAIN.

Legend Has it – Robots Root 15 June 2017

Black Panther rules everything around me.

In third place (because BP needed two), we have Robot’s Root for 9 June 2017:

  • Interesting that Blomkamp feels that Chappie is his most personal, best film, but that Elysium wasn’t that great. I felt the opposite.
  • I need more Stranger Things in my life. Immediately. Thessalhydra or not.
  • Ugh, American remake of Misfits. UGH.
  • An absolutely fascinating look at the true history behind Dr. Poison’s life mask in Wonder Woman.
  • Now YOU can own Bill Paxton’s armor from Aliens. I mean, how could you live without this.
  • All this recent talk from Chris Evans about signing on beyond his contract and how Infinity War would change the MCU etc etc: yes, we get it. Cap is getting assassinated.
  • I love how Ian McShane talks up Deadwood every 6 months and how it’s in HBO’s hands. I mean, YEAH, but still, I’d rather see actual progress on the project.
  • Useful.
  • Interesting that Olivia Munn isn’t yet signed up for the new X-Men film (she was woefully underutilized in the last one) but VERY interesting that supposedly Jessica Chastain is being courted for Lilandra of the Shi-ar. I LOVE THE CONCEPT.
  • Shioli Kutsuna has been cast in Deadpool 2. So many options here. Lady Deathstrike sounds like one, but given her Wolverine and X-Men pedigree, seems an odd choice.
  • Try to imagine John Lithgow as the Joker. I can. Wow.
  • Check out this rad Big Trouble in Little China project.

OK, go run your jewels, whils Kris and I prepare for Wizard World Sacramento!

But Who Will Play Old Lace I Ask You – 8 Feb 2017

Image

Image
After needling Deeply Dapper with this fantasy casting challenge for six straight months, we finally threw in the towel in our recent recording of the Robot-Kraken Podcast, and I gave him my fantasy casting choices, which were all extremely on point and profound (no bias)… however, now that they have released the official casting for the Runaways series, one thing I’ll say I really like: complete unknowns. link!

Plus, all these things:

– Witness Will Arnett suffer the Lego Walk of Fire for marketings. Good work! link!

– The new Iron Fist trailer continues to work with me, more or less… too much Batman, but I’m still down. link! ; Especially, down with Colleen Wing, thus: link!; but not all are convinced, as Lung forwarded to me: link! . While I think the majority of interhaters don’t understand the source material was always a white dude deep diving in asian culture (hello, again, so many similar stories) and are right to snort at the appropriation, I won’t have any patience with whining about the reaction on the production’s side. Such as when they whined that people were pissed about Tilda Swindon as the Ancient One. I quite liked that change, and feel like if they had gone with the comics’ fu-manchu’ trope, there would have been outcries about THAT… but they knew what they were doing. Same again with Iron Fist. They knew people would react this way. And let’s remember, it’s hard to find a more inclusive supers franchise than the Marvel Netflix stuff. So many characters of different ethnicities and backgrounds, plus an entire SHOW steeped in unapologetic Harlem awesomeness… so, you know, complain away that Danny Rand is white, if you want. Me, I’ll just complain about his fro. HA!

– Richard Hatch RIP/ Not the Survivor/tax dodger, but the original Apollo. link!

– Jennifer Connelly will play a villain in Battle Angel Alita, and joins an excellent cast, filling me with the enthusiasms. link!

– Meanwhile, in the Phillipines, the best burger ever has been created. Trademarks be damned, this is flavor country! link!

Image
– Haley Bennett is hinting through her IG or whatever that she’s the next Catwoman. Who? You ask? Best I could do, she’s the girl who met a bitter end in the Equalizer. But more importantly, she took a photo with a mod sense of color blocking and pattern which I appreciated. Let’s giver her that. Or the director of that shoot. Something. Anyway. link!

– This kind of cracked me up: Feige described Thanos as ‘the main character of Infinity War’ which is kind of a dubious manip of saying otherwise ‘there are 333 supers in this film and one big bad’ but also a way of saying ‘we won’t hide Thanos until the third act, after two hours of heroes hand-wringing’ which I can get behind. link!

– ALicia Vikander has been spotted on the set of Tomb Raider. Tell you what I like: here’s an action heroine who isn’t an emaciated stick figure with breast implants on wire work. That’s not a jab at anyone. But I like that she looks like a human. That all said, still, HAWT. link!

– But also, erm, Eleven’s hair. link! DISCUSS.

Image
– I’ve been meaning to bring up the yellow and brown suit, not directly related to Logan, but rather lamenting that we never saw him in it specifically as designed in the stinger for Wolverine, in which it looks SWEET AS. So now, who knows, perhaps? link!

Oh Ahm Not Gonna Kill Ya – This Just Happened 170124

Image
Ayers now admits he wishes he made the Joker the main villain in SS. I only bring this up because well YEAH. link!

Meanwhile, THIS JUST HAPPENED:

– You’ve seen the pics of Hugh Jackman, Ryan Reynolds, and Pierce Brosnan hamming it up, which led to rampant speculation that Brosnan is the Cable casting. Here’s a Bosslogic manip to test it out. I’m actually not opposed to this idea. I think if you set aside all the 90’s muscle and bravado, Cable needs to be gritty, humorless, and a boss. Works. link!

– Call of Cthulhu for PS4 en rte! link!

– Here’s a black-costume Superman for you, based on a supposed set sneak. It’s the second time we’ve seen something alluding to our looking blatantly like the Superman suit in black, and it obviously happened in the comics. I’m fine with it. It’s Kryptonian. Maybe the color bleeds out when the wearer is sucking up solar power from it on a cellular level? Huh? Send me my check! link!

– Inhumans IMAX, from the director that brought you… Scorpion King 3… uh. link!

– You may have been successfully trolled by the first sneak trailer info for Santa Clarita, as I was. Trust me, go back and watch the proper trailer now. It looks GOOD. Well played, marketing company! link!

– Woody Harrison claims with an affirmative declaration that his character in Han Solo is Garris Shrike. However, aside from that being EU canon, it doesn’t sound like something requiring thinking about, and DOES sound like Harrelson, rather, thinking about what to do without running afoul of his NDA… so, lying seems pretty viable. link!

– Logan is supposedly not directly in continuity. Which is, what, even, these days, I don’t even. link!

Image
Also; that comic she snatched? Commissioned for the film drawn by Dan Pagosian. Nice that they actually went with a known creator rather than the usual Hollywood angle of paying the art department to create what the comics guys would do better, faster, and with more dignity. Even if it is The Adventures of Rogue Falling. link!

Oh! I never shared the trailer that launched the other day! SO GOOD
link!

– New Arthur trailer, now with giant boss level monsters. link!

And now, bonus bits:

Image
This

Image
Still one of my favorite posters in recent memory

Image
A much better Bosslogic manip than his first one. Inspiring…

Image
Finally, a great cover by Dave Johnson

Meanwhile:

TIRE FIRES and Other Things – 9 Nov 2016

In other news…

Image
ITEM: For those of you watching WESTWORLD (and please tell me you are) this is a great article about the psychological principle referenced in the narrative, regarding the Bicameral Mind.
via

:::

Image
ITEM: Here’s a fun list of tidbits gleamed from the Force Awakens commentary track. I love lists like this because I verrrrry rarely listen to the commentaries, but I like reading them.

Image
ITEM: Big plans for Marvel theme parks overseas. Wow, sounds fun!

Image
ITEM: You don’t even have to be down with Gundam to enjoy this stop-motion film.

Image
ITEM: I did NOT see this one coming, as my son is prone to say. The fans of Young Justice have been pining for years now about the abrupt cancellation of the popular series… and now, out of the blue, they announced a third season!
via

:::

Image
ITEM: Feige is interesting to listen to (or read about) and I tend to be down with what he talks about. If there’s one area that is particularly gray when it comes to the divide between the MCU and the MCTVU, it’s continuity. We’ve talked about how the shows reference the films, making them enjoyable and feel part of the global MCU picture, but the films never reference the shows directly for several reasons (though Feige has been atypically cagey about, so to speak, Defenders being involved in the upcoming Avengers films) … sometimes events overlap and contradict (I suppose the biggest example is Coulson dying in Avengers and being resuscitated with Kree shit in SHIELD; it isn’t a direct conflict because Coulson hasn’t been referenced in the MCU since, but anyway) but this was an odd one, where Feige talked about the plans for Inhumans now that they were bumped from the immediate film planning schedule… and talked about a TV appearance. We’ve had Inhumans in SHIELD for two seasons now. I think he meant the Inhuman Royal Family.
via

:::

Image
ITEM: Amidst the potentially spurious talk recently of execs rumored to be complaining that Affleck’s script for Batman is shit (and he keeps saying it isn’t ready for prime time yet) here’s some rah-rahing from Deathstroke his own self.
via

:::

Image
ITEM: Two bits here: one, closer looks at Vulture, showing some internal logic to his design that I don’t hate; and two, part of a long Feige interview, where Keaton is actually confirmed as Vulture, which we have taken as fact for like 6 months.
via
and via

:::

Image
ITEM: Rumor has it Kinberg is planning a reboot of the X-franchise for fox, dumping Singer and yet ‘hopeful’ of keeping their top three remaining stars after losing Jackman and Stewart. I’m not opposed to the reboot, though I like the ‘first class’ and ‘apocalypse-specific original x-men’ like Jean Grey and Cyclops… but I AM opposed to retaining those other actors. Let’s just start over, and rethink what makes X-Men work. In fact, how about we just give marvel the keys back again.
via

:::

Image
ITEM: Upside-Down I get it…
via

:::

Thats’s all for today. It’s been a difficult week. Let’s look forward to positive things to come, such as Robot-Kraken podcasts and new arts! I had to postpone Doctor Strange due to a family emergency, but I hope to see it this weekend.
